Zu Pfingsten fiel mir ein uralter Song von Simon and Garfunkel ein: „A Church is Burning“ Ursprünglich bezog er sich auf den Rassismus in den USA, als Sympathisanten des Ku-Klux-Clan „schwarze“ Kirchen abfackelten. Heute tun das die Sympathisanten von Boko Haram.
Die Gewalt und das Unrecht werden nicht beschönigt, die Antwort ist aber auch nicht einfach nur trotzig, sondern von einer tiefen Überzeugung über das befreiende Evangelium getragen, die uns allen gut tut:
